  • The IT Support maintains the computer networks of all types of organisations, providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly. IT Support monitors and maintains the company computer systems, installs, and configures hardware and software, and solves technical issues as they arise.

Urban and regional planners develop land use plans and programs that help create communities, accommodate population growth, and revitalize physical facilities in towns, cities, counties, and metropolitan areas

 

  • Key responsibilities include the following:

    1. Prompt at ensuring that all resource collections are properly maintained and easily accessible.
    2. Organizing library information materials, providing assistance to library users and help them locate and use information references.
    3. Required to provide recommendations to help library users access useful materials, help them to use computers and the internet to locate information.
    4. Required to classify information materials using the Company’s classification system.
    5. Shall ensure that library users follow the rules and regulations of the library.
    6. Ensure cleanliness in the Company’s library.
    7. Work with book binders to bind information materials that need repairs.
    8. Ensure that any information coming in or leaving Geodev office premises is well recorded and a copy of it stored in both hard and soft copies (In a CD) for future reference.
    9. Any other duties assigned to you by management.
  • Key responsibilities include the following:

    • Monitoring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
    • Reviewing, investigating, correcting errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
    • Ensuring compliance with state and corporate policies, regulations and laws.
    • Reviewing accounts payables and receivables and reconciling them.
    • Compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts and documents business transactions.
    • Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.
    • Analyze transactional processes and identify areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved.
    • Assist with monthly forecast & annual budgets. Prepare all allocations.
    • Coordinating monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
    • Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets.
    • Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information.
    • Proper filing of all accounts department documents.
    • Ensure timely collection of Debts and Payment of suppliers.
    • Processing of the Payroll and ensuring that all deductions and advances are properly recorded and deducted.

    Any other duties that may be assigned to you by the management

  • Key responsibilities include the following:

    • Create and maintain the structures necessary for GIS data storage.
    • Undertake desk-based data capture (digitizing) to convert paper maps to GIS datasets.
    • Ensure proper maintenance of GIS equipment.
    • Use a range of GPS tools in the field to capture the location of ‘assets’ such as bridges, street lights, road barriers and flood defenses.
    • Develop tools for loading/transferring GIS data between different systems.
    • Manipulate, analyse and present geographical information by creating programs to convert GIS information from one format to another.
    • Oversee and participate in providing graphic services including preparation, layout, and design of a variety of reports, displays, literature, maps and computer graphics; ensure the accuracy and completeness of digital GIS maps and data files.
    • Use tools to join together different GIS datasets and create new information or investigate patterns.
    • Provides GIS consultation and technical support in different projects.
    • Any other duties that may be assigned to you by the management.
  • Responding to visitors and clients’ inquiries and complaints and communicating appropriate options for resolution in a timely manner.
  • Receiving and escalating client’s grievances.
  • Maintaining the image of Geodev by dressing appropriately and attending to clients with respect and integrity.
  • Provision of reports required from the front office.
  • Directing all enquires to the right office.
  • Ensure effective management of incoming/outgoing calls and maintaining a daily record of incoming calls on inquiries and ensuring that follow-up is done.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness/hygiene and tidiness within the front office.
  • Assists in planning and implementing front office goals and make recommendations to management to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Fleet management and maintenance of fuel records.
  • Proper management of the company’s records/files issued to the front office, cheque-books and petty cash.
  • Maintenance of the store’s inventory by signing in and out of store equipment.
  • In charge of coordinating all company purchases.
  • Key responsibilities include the following:

    • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and client satisfaction.
    • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
    • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
    • Promote the company’s products and services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
    • Source and keep records of viable tenders.
    • Respond to tenders in consultation with the managing Director and submit bids before set deadlines.
    • Advisory to the management on tender related matters.
    • Keep track and upto date records of ongoing and complete projects.
    • Provide trustworthy feedback to clients.
    • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs.
    • Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
    • Partner with the management to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients.
    • Become a subject matter expert on our company’s products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on our industry’s news.
    • Any other duties assigned to you by management.
    • Key responsibilities include the following:

      • Environmental and Social Impact Assessment studies, data collection and Reporting.
      • Analyze environmental and social data and do quality-control checks.
      • Review ESIA and RAP reports and sharing any views.
      • Assisting in Environmental and Social Compliance Audits, Monitoring and Evaluation.
      • Keeping up to date with relevant changes in environmental legislation and initiatives including international legislation where applicable.
      • Liaising with NEMA for client project approval and licensing.
      • Prepare comprehensive or review reports/proposals/tender RFP to meet the highest standards for submission within the required time schedule;
      • Provide Strategy and Innovation: Provide overall strategic direction to the various assignments of the department, with appropriate strategic innovation that delivers the mandate of the company at the cutting edge of associated industry practices, techniques, technologies, and approaches.
      • Reporting and communication: Ensure timely and comprehensive reporting and documentation as per scope of works and client’s requirements;
      • Resource optimization and scheduling: Assist to establish and maintain effective and efficient resource use strategy, scheduling and workflow processes for the department and company as a whole.
      • Content and coordination: Assist to coordinate the department’s output, optimizing the processes required to absorb client and project inputs and deliver to the client sound relationship management;
      • Assists in preparation of technical methodology for the purpose of bidding ;
